We had a pretty common issue roll into the workshop this week 👨‍🔧 — an Isuzu D-Max with weak air conditioning. With temperatures starting to rise, this is something we’re seeing more and more often.
The Problem: Weak Aircon Performance
When the vehicle came in, the main concern was simple: the aircon just wasn’t cooling like it used to. After a thorough inspection, we identified the culprit — a leaking AC evaporator.
This is a fairly common issue, especially as vehicles age or when they’re exposed to changing weather conditions. The evaporator plays a key role in cooling your car’s cabin, so even a small leak can significantly impact performance.
The Fix: Evaporator Replacement & Re-Gas
To get things back in shape, we:
- Replaced the faulty evaporator
- Re-gassed the air conditioning system
The result? Cold air restored and working like new again. ❄️👌
